OJC's New Athletic Trainer

Megan Fowler

Megan Fowler, La Junta, is Otero Junior College’s new athletic trainer. After graduating from La Junta High School, Fowler went to Bethel College in North Newton, KS where she earned a B.S. in Athletic Training, Health, and Physical Education. Fowler also works at La Junta High School as the athletic trainer, which she began in 2011.

Fowler will be responsible for all athletic teams in the prevention, immediate care, treatments, and rehabilitation of injuries.

The coaching staff and athletes are pleased to have Fowler on board. They know that having her expertise will help the athletic department as a whole. “I am excited to be working at the collegiate level, and will provide the best healthcare to the athletes possible,” said Fowler.

Fowler is the daughter of Robert and Diane Fowler. She enjoys running, swimming, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
