Otero Junior College has a newly constructed amphitheatre classroom in McBride Hall, located north of the Student Center. The state-of-the-art classroom seats over 100 people. The classroom has laptop computer hook-ups at each seat along with the latest audio-visual technology for teaching and presentations. There are also aditional lecture and classroom facilities available on campus, many are equipped with smart stations and laptop connections.
The Ed Stafford Theatre in the Humanities Center is also available for your event use. The theatre has a capacity of over 500 and is perfect for large presentations, seminars, or entertainment. It is equipped with a new light and sound system which is also accompanied by mobile audio-visual equipment, including a portable multimedia projector and screen.
The computer labs at OJC are located in McBride Hall. Each lab can support up to 26 computers and is equipped with smart boards, allowing the instructor to have full screen demonstrations for students. The computers provide students with full access to the latest application capabilities through Microsoft Office. High-speed Internet access is also available.
