The files located at this Web site were created by students at OJC and they contain interviews recorded with residents of the lower Arkansas River Valley in southeastern Colorado. These interviews are invaluable reflections on how events have transpired over the years to affect the daily lives of the Valleys residents. New files are being added all the time, so please visit us often.

This web site includes the complete catalog of our collection, and links to other history projects about the lower Arkansas River Valley. Copies of our oral histories are available for the cost of photocopying, which varies according to the length of the document. Please contact RuAnn Keith at RuAnn.Keith@ojc.edu for ordering information on the particular oral history in which you are interested. Certain oral histories may be available in the circulating stacks of Wheeler Library on the OJC campus or Woodruff Memorial Library, 522 Colorado Avenue, La Junta, CO 81050. You may request a library search by contacting wheelerlibrary@ojc.edu or woodruff@lajunta.lib.co.us.
