INTRODUCTION

As professionals involved with learning, we focus on creating student opportunities and effecting student success. Members of all instructional departments at Otero Junior College follow approved curricular and instructional practices. Supervision for instructional matters is handled through the Department Chairperson; any remaining questions involving other campus procedures may be directed to the appropriate administrator. Full-time faculty discuss textbooks, grading, and examinations with the appropriate Chairs, while part-time instructors meet with faculty counterparts. Communicating with the Student Services Center regarding student record keeping, such as the Census Date Report and Final Grade Reports is a must. All communications are open and encouraged; informal channels may provide helpful advice.
