Arkansas Valley Science Fair 2008

Three students who exhibited during the 12th annual Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair last week included: (l-r): Lance Yocum, Kim; Tianna Garcia, Cheraw; and Carly Yocum, Kim. Garcia’s project will be advancing on the State Science Fair.
Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair exhibitors who have been named Arkansas Valley Delegates and will be advancing to the Colorado State Science and Engineering Fair to be held on April 10-12 at CSU in Fort Collins include: (l-r): Alexa Major, Fowler, who is the 2nd place OJC Excellence Award and Junior Level 1st place winner; Brianna Honebein, Ordway; Devon Enke, La Veta; Cahl Johnson, Kim; Jared Bannon, Branson; Kaitlyn Lingus, Branson, who is the 1st place Director’s Trophy and Outstanding Senior Project winner; Cade Daugherty, Branson; Samantha O’Leary, Ordway; Leah Frye, Gardner; Jordyn Bannon, Branson; Stephen Ortega, Branson; Shea Johnson, Kim; Casey Campbell, La Veta; Carlos Nunez, La Veta; and Tiana Garcia, Cheraw. Not pictured are Michael Lingus and Bethany Dilda, Branson.

Arkansas Valley Science Fair 2007 Winners

Eric Keeling, from La Veta, received the 1st place Director’s Trophy at the Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair. Presenting Keeling with his trophy is Dr. Aaron O. Reyes, director of the Science Fair.	Kaitlyn Lingus, from Branson, was awarded the 2nd place OJC Excellence Award, Senior Level. Pictured with Lingus is Dr. Aaron O. Reyes, director of the Science Fair.	Travis Miller, from Branson, was named the Junior Level 1st place OJC Excellence Award winner, with his project, Trash or Treasurer.
