Science Fair Winners 2011

Andrew Bartolo, a junior at Swink High School, was awarded the 2011 Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair Director’s Trophy. His project; Variable Voltages: An Experiment on the Viability of Overclocking, will advance to the Colorado State Science and Engineering Fair to be held on April 7-9 at CSU in Fort Collins, and to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, Calif. to be held May 8-13.

Devon Enke, a freshman at La Veta High School, was awarded the Outstanding Senior Project at the 15 annual Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair. His project, Mycorrhizal Symbiosis - Unlocking the Potential of Soil, will advance to the Colorado State Science and Engineering Fair to be held on April 7-9 at CSU in Fort Collins.

Eric Keeling, from La Veta, received the 1st place Director’s Trophy at the Arkansas Valley Regional Science Fair. Presenting Keeling with his trophy is Dr. Aaron O. Reyes, director of the Science Fair.
