Coach Sarah Hirsch

Sarah Hirsch grew up in Las Vegas, NV and graduated high school in 1997. She attended Taft Community College for one year where she pitched and played first base. After Taft she went on to finish her career at University of Southern Colorado (‘99-‘02), now Colorado State University at Pueblo.
While at USC she pitched and played first base. She earned all RMAC honors in both 2001 and 2002. She helped lead the Thunderwolves to a 2001 RMAC championship. Also, during the 2001 season Southern Colorado was ranked 7th in the nation. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, and Recreation degree in 2005.
After her college career she volunteered at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs for two years in 2003 and 2004. She was a part of the 2004 RMAC Conference Championship Team and qualified for the South Central Regional Tournament. UCCS was runner’s up at regional’s and finished the year being ranked 10th in the nation.
In 2005 she headed south to Texas to be the Graduate Assistant at Texas Woman’s University for the next two years. She is finishing up her master’s degree in Kinesiology with an Adapted Physical Education emphasis.
