Learning to be better at HOOPS!!

Dear Camper and Parents:

We at Otero Junior College are preparing for our annual OJC summer basketball camp. The importance of playing basketball in the off-season is what separates the average player from the excellent one. With that in mind, we have developed a camp that is affordable and can fit in your daily schedule. We try to pack in as much basketball in a half-day that most overnight camps can't and at a low, low price. We make it our priority to make sure each camper goes home saying he or she played as much basketball as one possibly could. However, we are more that just a basketball camp, as we stress sportsmanship, partnership, and work ethic principles. Our goal is to have one of the top camps in the nation. We also stress fundamentals, team play, and individual development of the player. You will not leave disappointed.

• 8:00 Announcements/Arrivals
• 8:10 Stretching and Warm-up
• 8:20 Fundamental Station work
• 10:00 Daily Camp Contest
• 10:30 3 on 3 Team League
• 11:00 Lecture and Teaching
• 11:45 Group Closure
• Thursday 3 on 3 Tournament
• Extra Contests, Awards Ceremony & Big Shot Contest

Equipment Needed:

Each camper will need gym shoes, t-shirt, and gym shorts which should be worn to the gym each session. Please do not bring valuables. A concession stand will be open during the camp.
