When Americans describe our nation, we think of ourselves as a proud and powerful country. Yet 9/11 made us realize our vulnerability. Some Americans can become so caught up in trying to find answers that they attack the heart of their own country. The terrorist attack of the modern age aimed to destroy our nation, the last thing we need to do is crumble from the inside out. As a proud American citizen I believe that we need to get over these conspiracy theories. We need to trust our system. It has worked since the dawning of our nation and will remain in-tact if we let it. As President Jefferson stated, “United we stand. Divided we fall.”
