No tuition or fees are refunded after twelve (12) class days from the beginning of the semester, approximately 15% of the class. If a student officially withdraws from class and presents a claim to the Business Office within the first twelve class days of the current term, a full refund is given. Failure to indicate on the Census Date Report that students have never attended class may cause them difficulty in obtaining a refund.

     In order to make the refund policy clear to students, an Otero Junior College Refund Policy sheet should be circulated the first and second class meeting. Students should read and sign this sheet which clearly states the policy of refunding money and the need for withdrawal forms. This form is then filed in the Instructional Services office. See Section V for a copy of this form.
