Otero Junior College hosts STEM Day for Middle and High School students each year in December to encourage and inspire more of our best and brightest students to study in the STEM fields. STEM Day is a fun hands on learning experience that instills an appreciation of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.

TRiO is a federally funded program under the U.S. Department of Education designed to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and help students make the transition from one level of higher education to the next.
