Recognizing that all students do not learn in the same way or at the same rate, the college provides a wide range of Support Services to help students advance toward their academic, career and technical goals.

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 9:00 pm
Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

The Student Success Center (SSC) provides free support services to all students to assist in fulfilling their educational objectives. These services include tutoring, transitional assistance, study skills, tutoring, test taking, alternative testing, open computer lab, referrals, learning style inventories and other assessments.

Skill Building Sessions

The Student Success Center offers free SEMINARS. Seminars are designed to provide students with alternative suggestions on how they can improve their note taking skills, test taking skills, how to study, and manage their time and stress levels.

Open Computer Lab

All Otero Junior College students may use the Open Computer Lab located in Room 129 McBride Hall. There is a Lab Assistant available to answer any questions you may have.

 

All Services are Free to Students Enrolled in Classes at OJC.
