Financial aid is not available to international students however students may be eligible for a scholarship.

10. Are international students allowed to work?

During the first semester international students can not work. However, after the first semester, part-time work opportunities may be available. Being that there are a limited number of jobs on campus, international students should not rely on this source of income as the only means of financial support (i.e. tuition and living expenses).

11. Can I transfer credits from different schools?

If your courses are from an appropriately overseas accredited university, you may apply such credit towards an Associate in Arts degree at OJC. First, the courses will be assessed by an approved credential evaluation agency. The next step is for the OJC Admissions and Records Office to review the courses. In some cases, certain courses will require further approval by the department chair. Approved courses can then be transferred to OJC.
