Take a night off from your diet and come dine at OJC. "International Food's Night" is one of the most anticipated annual events at Otero Junior College.

International Food's Night is sponsored by the OJC International Relations Organization and the Office of Multicultural Events, held every April in the OJC Student Center Banquet Room. The event offers food from around the world. The Rocky Mountain Chefs from Sodexo Campus Services prepare delectable dishes designed to tempt your taste buds. Food from countries represented in years past included Polynesia, Asia, Germany, France, Mexico and the Mediterranean.
The evening is divided into two sessions:
STUDENT SESSION DOORS OPEN AT 4:45pm (Rattler's Den)
All students with a 15 or 19 meal plan will be admitted free with their meal card.
COMMUNITY SESSION DOORS OPEN AT 6:15pm (Banquet Rm)
In addition to the delicious dishes prepared by the Sodexo team, members of the IRO, OJC staff and special guests will present a variety of acts to entertain and delight .
Throughout the evening, guests will be able to get to know IRO members who will be serving as table hosts and hostesses for the evening. A special presentation will be made to each of the community businesses who have provided internships for the students over the past year.
Due to the popularity of the event it is advisable to reserve your tickets early. The dinner is usually sold out well in advance. Tickets for International Food's Night can be reserved by calling Chellie Wallace at 384-6805 or Debbie Phillips at 384-6863 or by registering online at International Food's Night Registration (Registration opens February 8th).
Proceeds from International Foods Night help to fund the International Student Scholarship Fund at OJC.
