What are digital resources?
Digital resources can range from an old-time advertisement of electric refrigerators
(from the Library of Congress American Memory project) to poems by Emily Dickinson
(from the University of Michigan Digital Library Production Services American Verse project).
Digital resources include items such as:
- electronic books
- online journals
- audio files (e.g., wav, mp3)
- images (e.g., tiff, gif)
- movies (e.g., mpeg, quicktime)
- reference texts (e.g., dictionaries, directories)

A statewide historic newspaper database, beginning with newspapers dating from 1859 to 1880. Includes full text indexing of all
articles, graphics, letters to the editor, and advertising. View articles individually or in the context of
the full page of the paper. Search by topic, individual, or organization in a single newspaper or
any combination of papers, or all papers.
