OJC Women’s Soccer signs ten players for the 2016-17 season

Otero Junior College Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Sierra Cardenas, announced the signing of ten student-athletes for the 2016 season; another strong recruiting class for Cardenas’ second season as head coach.
Chloe Craig (Glasgow, Scotland), Macy Sherick (Broomfield), Tyler Murphy (Arvada), Estefany Gonzalez (Las Vegas, Nev.), Georgia Findlay (Colorado Springs), MJ Crews (Roy, Utah), Kat Lopez (Westminster), Kaley Wagle (Forney, Texas), Chermalyn Albert (Saint Lucia, Caribbean), and Adriana Smith (Alamogordo, N.M.) have all signed commitments to play soccer at OJC.

“We are very excited about this 2016 incoming class, as this is going to be another great recruiting class for Otero Women’s Soccer,” Cardenas said. “We are losing a lot of leadership and experience this year with our exiting sophomore class and these incoming freshmen have big shoes to fill. I am confident that the character, work ethic and passion for the game that this class possesses, will allow them to do just that. The group includes quality players from Utah, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, as well as international players from Scotland and the Caribbean, who will be key for us next year in various positions. We have a very solid returning class, and we cannot wait to add these freshmen to the Otero Family next fall!”
