Come Meet the Next Generation to Feed the Nation

The La Junta Chamber of Commerce and the Otero Junior College Agriculture Program will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, April 21st on the campus of OJC in McDivitt Hall 110 (Ag Classroom). The event will be a come-and-go, laid back environment, starting at 4:30 p.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m.

There will be educational displays, student projects from throughout the year, and tours of the new greenhouse. Students from both the Ag Program and the Rattler Rodeo Team will be there to meet with community members. There are several students who are actively involved in production agriculture and would enjoy sharing with you some of the work they do to help feed our community.

There will also be FREE hotdogs, chips, and cookies, and fun for the whole family.  Please come and enjoy your evening with us and see the program that is teaching the next generation to feed our nation.

For more information about the event or the OJC Ag Program, please contact Brooke Matthew, 384-6964, Brooke.Matthew@ojc.edu; or Martina Murray, 384-6930, Martina.Murray@ojc.edu.
