Move-in Weekend for OJC students

Otero Junior College students poured into the dorms this weekend to get set for the start of fall semester on Monday, August 15.  Move-in weekend marks the start of the new academic year on campus.  The campus was bustling with students hurrying to make last minute schedule changes, make new friends and settle in to their new accommodations before getting down to the business of academia.

Opening activities at the college included the ‘Jump Start’ program offered to help students learn how to login to the OJC computer system, print off their class schedules and find their classrooms.

Students moving into the dorms and their families were served lunch on Sunday.  During the meal, students played games and participated in drawings for prizes provided by local businesses and campus clubs.

Throughout the day and evening, students set the foundation for a great experience at Otero Junior College both academically and socially. OJC welcomes all new and returning students and wishes them an enjoyable and successful year.
