Certificate

a training Emergency Medical Technician takes a heart rate

This program prepares the graduate to perform pre-hospital care including assessments, skills and transportation for clients suffering from traumatic injury or other medical emergencies. Both the Basic EMT and Advanced EMT levels are offered as certificates.

Successful completion of the Otero emergency medical training programs’ requirements for graduation will also entitle the graduate to submit an application to the National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for EMT Basic or EMT Advanced certification.
